This Home Protect Kitchen combination smoke and CO (carbon monoxide) alarm is a long-life, optical alarm with a sealed-in Lithium battery, that lasts the full 10-year life of the alarm. It is ideal for use in kitchens, and has intelligent multi-technology sensors that combine for fewer nuisance alarms, when compared to standard smoke alarms located in or near kitchens. It also has a hush button so nuisance alarms can be temporarily silenced. It has an end-of-life warning signal that alerts you after 10 years, when it is time to replace. It can be wall-mounted (between 10-30cm from the ceiling) or if ceiling- mounted (at least 10cm from the corner with the nearest wall).
