Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a highly poisonous gas. Exposure to enough of it can be fatal. It has no taste, colour, or smell. Its vitally important to protect you and your family from this silent killer, by having a CO alarm on each floor of the home. The alarm can either be wall-mounted (at a height of about 1.5 metres from the ground and at least 30cm away from ceilings or adjoining walls), or it can be freestanding, about 1.5 metres from the ground. Fixings and full fitting instructions are included ; very easy to install and set up. This product has a 7-year sensor life, and a 7-year alarm warranty. It has an end-of-life warning, as shown in the instructions. The product is BSI certified to EN50291-1:2010, CE tested and certified, and is fully tested before leaving the factory.
